Hello, Fellow Members, Patrons, and Community Members
About a month ago, I gave an interview to Global Television. This resulted in much concern from individuals about our future livelihood. Other negative campaigns have also deterred people from attending our facility. I realize now that I also should have concentrated on the positives of the Norwood Legion. In this newsletter, I will identify to you the positives and the upcoming events.
You may have noticed that the Billboard in the corner of our lot has our immediate upcoming events. Please take note: WE ARE OPEN.
We are working diligently to provide you with a fully pleasant experience while you are at our facility. Everything from Customer Service, to good food and drink, and good friendship. The current executive is committed to making this facility a viable business.
I would like to introduce you to our star Customer Service Employees. Elizabeth and Nick in the Kitchen. Kristy, Garry, and Clarise in the bar.
We cannot do this alone. We need your support and help. What kind of help are we looking for?
- Go Fund Me Donations are nice but we prefer to see you in our facility and enjoy the features we offer. We want to give something back to you for spending your time and money at our legion.
- Book your family events with us.
- Participate in our events as much as possible. Concerts, Dances, etc.
- Volunteer to help us with some of our daily operations.
- Join a sports team in our legion.
- Make us, your place to have coffee and lunch with friends and family.
- Our Membership is only $55.
We are currently looking for a Pool League, Darts and Shuffle board leagues to begin the fall season. We have much opportunity for Crib, Canasta and Board Games. Contact the Norwood for arrangements.
We will continue to have dances at The Norwood but not as frequently as we planned. I received many phone calls from patrons, that requested we keep this event going. We will advertise these as they come closer.
